Facilities

Mount Eden Tennis Club has 6 sheltered astroturf tennis courts facing North-South. The courts are fully fenced with locking gates for which all members are provided a key. There is a courtside water fountain.

All the courts have side lighting that is useable till 10:30 at night. Access to the lights is available only to senior members.

The clubhouse is on 2 storeys with an upper deck and a lower deck giving great viewing of courts 1 and 2.

The top floor is self contained with its own kitchen, hall and a fine view of the mountain (Maungawhau) through the picture windows.

The ablutions block is an annex of the top floor and contains separate men's and women's toilets, showers, and change areas.

The downstairs area (currently a work in progress) has direct access to the courts via the deck, through the slide back window wall. A kitchenette is being designed to cater for refreshments without venturing from the courtside.

Only senior members are provided with clubhouse keys.

The club has resident coaches present on site at times specified on the coaching page and available on request for your individual tuition.

Plenty of parking is available streetwise, or, if full, on the paddock behind the stone wall to the west of the clubhouse.

No valuables or foodstuffs are kept on site.
